In a Starbuck's kind of world, Cafe Monet is a nice oasis. The bakery is very fresh and the beverages well made. Saturday and Sunday you can buy a traditional eggs and bacon breakfast. The sandwitches and salads and soups are above average. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the decor is bright and airy with lots of plants, colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling and a huge fish in a tank. I've become a regular since moving to Santa Maria. I am one of many.
